I had an eTrek vista and it is a great GPS - but it does not have the option for an external antenna mount which you may want to have particularly if you use the GPS in the car. So, I recently upgraded to a Garmin GPS76S. Pretty much the same as the vista but with a marginally larger display and external antenna jack. I've use the Roads and recreation software with good results and also the shareware program EASYGPS.
