Hmm interesting. If they are shorter then how come I was unable to see the
difference when I took the old ones out of my van and set them on the ground
next to the '90 Syncro springs I intended to install in my van. Then after
prying and pushing on the spring for quite some time I also found that the
tierod was not long enough to accomodate the taller spring.
