Not sure what it is about my karma but evertime I am taking a road trip over 1000miles something on my beloved van chooses to stop working 3 days before I leave !!!!!!!!!!!! so now I am looking for a reputable (but not to expensive if possible) garage/mechanic for my 90 Carat The foriegn service shops around here won't touch a vanagon. Even the mechanics at the VW Dealership roll their eyes (and at 75$ an hour and full retail on parts they are not the only ones) Looking for a garage/mechanic in town but would consider driving up to an hour away Current problems include Overheating (think I it is the radiator van - changed fuse=no luck) Bum wireing in front passanger door (speaker and power window not working-I know this one is electrical/wiring) Charlottesville, VA zip 22902 (about an hour west of Richmond VA on I-64 or 2 hours south/west of DC on Route 29) All suggestions welcome, would consider driving further for a good garage but would prefer to stay as local as possible Thanx Joe |
