When I was tweaking the spring inside of my AFM to cure a surging idle problem, I found that if I went too lean on the AFM setting I would have bad hesitation off of idle. This is by a reputable mechanic and he has tried everything to help. So he is willing to learn something too. I never had a problem before with hesitation but it is there now. Also, at idle it is very rough. It is timed and setup 'to the button' right now. At speed it is smooth, but off the line...boggy. So this 'dreaded hesitation' ...does it have a cure?
