I can attest to this for fact. The snorkel was left off mine on initial I4 install and there was terrible cabin noise in the 3K-4K range. It was put in and I have none of that noise inside now. When I am going up hill, with the drivers window down, I can hear that same kind of noise outside the van. What a relief.
