This is a bit off topic not the v-gon, but maybe some you have feedback my type1 bug i spent most of the day under yesterday adjusting the rear end, It's a pain the @@@ with the torsion bar and bushing getting everything to line up more the bushings are not allowing me to install the arm so its flush allowing the spring plate to line up. ( only one side )

now the question: the older swing axle rubber boot had a crack and tore up moving the axel around, you know the one with all the screw fittings on it older stytle kinda like a cv boot. This can be replaced without removing the axle from the tranny? I know the older aircooled bro might have the same setup

Its a swing axel only a boot on the inter-side near tranny.

man I'm sore its hard working on the ground for 6hrs and the bug you don't have clearance, back buster.

Thanks all drive safe and enjoy Friday Joe
