okay, southern cali, is hotter than southern germany, or it can be, likewise florida, and driving in traffic, where people don't have the sense to keep a distance behind you, to allow your engine some breathing space, (and because they don't know that their driving habits are contributing to congestion and slowing the freeways down), what about

having two thermostats...

one as you already have, and another, where your heater valve is, and your heater (front) feeding not into the interior but all exterior flow... a little fan placed directly along this and now on the outside, and with a matched fan switch, or with a water temp guage you can view, and then turn on your fan manually at the dash. ... what if, what if, what if.
