Well, its too bad ott-lite doesn't make something for the size of the florescent bulb we use, they have a nice color to them for a florescent... I've seen a nice little dj light with a 18 inch twistable stem... and the light pattern is pretty diffused compared to some halogen spot lights which I think are too tightly focused... saw it at Lightwave on Melrose in LA...
