Subject: hang your gas cap
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

lost my gas cap in north miami beach. never did fiind. looked for it for days. the guy behind the counter lost his temper with me (gas station)

bought a gas cap

lost the gas cap somewhere near torrance, ca

that was keyed gas cap, that I never did get keyed. in other words, it takes the ignition key

bought a gas cap that uses a seperate key (cheaper)

lost it one day. went back to the gas station, looked around, asked around, dug through every single trash can. no gas cap

thought about it

followed the route I took once I left the gas station...

nice walk.

found it in the parking lot of a smart and final

gas cap saved, money saved.

these days, i jiggle the gas cap a bit to make sure its secure, before I remove the key from the cap, after I've gassed up

and today, while cutting some hoses in front of an auto parts store, I stuck the ignition key into the passenger front door, while the gas key was still stuck in the gas cap...

what a nice holder. why isn't this in the bently?
