HI,

I was thinking about using/upgrading my 2 overhead speakers located in the air conditioner unit in the rear (currently not used). I also have two oval speakers I put in near the floor under the rear back seat (middle seat is removed). I was thinking of removing my rear heater core (broken and don't use) and replacing with a subwoofer. Hmmm, no loss off room.

I was also thinking of NOT using my front door speakers.... just keep the rear sound very directional from the rear. Wondered if anyone had any thoughts/experience on this?

I currently just use the rear ovals and the front door speakers. The fronts really don't push much bottom end and the higher frequencies are hard to hear because they are so directional anyways...why not put them in the back at head level...crossovers for all of it...and enough juice to crank it?

Ideas?

Thanks, Lee
