Chris: This is how it works. You get a piece of ribbon or light cloth. You tie this ribbon to a #2 Pencil and hold it up in the air. The ribbon or cloth is light weight and in effect behaves like a windsock at an airport. Watch the way the tail of the ribbon is pointing ................. while looking alternately at a local state map and back at the ribbon you search for lakes, rivers, State parks or recreational areas in the direction the tail of the ribbon is pointing. This saves fuel, gives you better speeds because you have what is called a tail wind. The alternate to explaining your unexplained increase in performance is simply that all the parts that are going to fail have synchronized and you'll soon have a multi part disaster.
