The guy who did the Freeze 12 in my Toyota didn't seem to think it was any big deal... he suggested it to save me $$$ over R-12 and because he heard it was superior to 134a. I think it was the first or nearly first time he had used it -- I doubt he had to acquire any special equipment or knowledge to do it. No change to the fittings on the car. Now in its second summer and still cools (high here in Tucson yesterday was 106).
