There's a thread on this topic from about a month/6 weeks ago in the
archives expressing the virtues/benefits of this considering the rear drive
and rear engine. Very effective compared to not having the DL on the 2 wd.

Ah yes but Mike, does yours have a "locking differential"?  Am I missinig
something here, why would a non syncro have a locking differential?
