Subject: Friend with AC problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

If anyone is parting out an AC equipped, 86 or newer, Vanagon - Please look in the Bentley - Pages 87.4 upper right and 85.5 lower left and you will see the "fuse block with Relays". This is the part that is needed to get my friends Van to cool down again. Anyone??? BTW, this part is located behind the rear "D" pillar (drivers side). Please be advised that this part melted as the result of a power lead that had corroded with age or whatever, Plastic block and wire insulation melted - IMO could have started a fire. The fuse did blow (50 amp bar).. Please 'P'mail answers - Urgency only driven by his discomfort :-) TIA - - Bud Yandell
