Most of this is personal opinion, so treat it that way:

> Anyone know how much it would cost for a decent paint job, 2 colors, silver > body bumpers, and Orly blue body and roof? You get what you pay for. A factory-quality paint job (including all the sanding, color coats, clear coats and more and more sanding) is probably more than I'd like to know, but if you get estimates let me know. My Carat is needing this too. > > Do they make seat covers for the front, rear, and carat pop-out seats? What > do they cost? I believe there are slip-on covers available through Go Westy or somewhere. Anyone? > > If a van has seam rust that not deep can it be sanded out easily? Now this I DO have an opinion on. The seams are not sealed on the inside IIRC which means that no matter how much sanding you do, air can still get to the surface from the back side. The only permanent solution would be to remove the seam sealer, sand out the rust and zinc chromate the seam. Remove the interior panels and do the same treatment to the inside of the seam. Paint it. When everything is nice and purty seal the seam on both sides. > > How much to fix a Rear fender is that is cracked? You mean the fiberglass pieces? Pretty simple. Any shop that works on Corvettes or boats should be able to help you.

Haven't used a steam cleaner yet, but have had good success with a heated wet/dry vac that allows you to spray water cleaner onto the surface and then suck it back out. My interior was filthy too. Most of the dirt seemed to be IN the foam - not just on the surface. It took me several cleanings followed by watching the dirt magically re-appear to realize :(

> On all rear seat vanagons do they have shoulder restraints seatbelts? Yes, on at lest the non-campers.
