I know we're done with this thread but I got some Enviro-Safe from Autorefrigerants.com, the kind with dye in it also, and just charged up my system and my ass is not on fire but I have iceycles on my ears. OK, you may say, "he had icycles on his ears before and he lost his ass long ago so it couldn't be on fire, so what's new?" I went for a 15 minute ride and got uncomfortably chilly in my van. Just some info for those with the same cavalier, hell-bent-for-death vanonites, even if not of local Brigham stock (all the better for you). I have an R-12 system and had an R-134 recharge kit from my other van, so I got a $5.95 adapter, shook the can, tapped it with the kit, plugged it in, turned it upside down, and opened the can of refrigerant and 5 minutes later I had eskimo's flying around my cabin.
