Bosch, of course, knows all about these things, and has schematics / calibration / test data. Problem is that, to the best of my knowledge, they have never made this available to the public. They have preferred to charge an outrageous sum for "rebuilt" units instead. To a knowledgeable electronic type, these would be relatively easy to repair, IF one could access the needed information. Has anyone tried to ply loose this information from Bosch or VW ?
