First step is to test/replace the pressure cap. If it still happens you are getting combustion gasses into the cooling system. This is usually caused by gasket failure where the head meets the cylinders, (not the rubber outer gaskets) or a cracked head.

Any ideas why my overflow coolant reservoir went over full and leaked coolant on the muffler? There far left coolant reservoir is about half full with air. I am in the Chatanooga area, actually exit 350 in Georgia. Any help would be appreciated. ideas/solutions/mechanics??? Please pmail me at mvaone@aol.com I am in digest mode.
