So whats the scoop on a good product that allows you to aim a light beam, at
say an address, while sitting in your vanagon, where the light is external
and on the roof or roof rack or whatever,,, just like the cops have, or you
know, as good...
I have a streamlight stinger flashlight, excellent light... glad I bought
it, have a fast charger with it, wouldn't want the slow charger... but it
has its limits...
like when using while working on the van... its a pain when you don't have a
third hand to hold it... its a pain when you need it, and suddenly it needs
a recharge... and as far as using for reading addresses... too much light is
reflected back from the windows... its more like I'm lighting myself
Even so, I wouldn't spend 3 cents on a mag light or any other light like
they sell almost everywhere... at least in the shape of a flashlight...
I do wish I had the ultra stinger iinstead of the (standard) stinger, and
I'd really like to have a florescent work light with a magnet for hanging...
(sears craftsman) plugged into my inverter... or some powersource...
and those micro tech led lights are nice to have, the micro tech II because
it has a stay on button, have one on my keychain.
but I really want a good directional/directed beam light mounted on my roof,
cause I hate getting lost. Street signs in an isolated area. That would be
nice...
H4 lights, and relays, those are some more lights.
DJ lights for adding pinpointed light to the florescent interior lamp
already installed by vw
are there any more lights?
Somewhere in LA theres a display of lights used at different periods for
lighting the streets. Saw a pic of it the other day. Symmetry and asymmetry.
Its installed in a parking lot. Was originally just a temporary install, but
it became permanent...
Oh yeah, the sun. Well there are those solar panels by Brunton that'll be
available in august that roll up, and put out 14 watts. Theres only one
Watts in LA. And theres a tower there made by an italian. In his backyard.
Saw it in a book.
Brighter reverse lights, need those two, don't think they'll melt my
taillight assembly, I don't drive in reserse a lot. Where do you get those
again. Went to a couple auto stores, and they were clueless.
