My '87 Westy occasionally starts missing and bucking, driving rough. I thought at first this was related to altitude, since it happened twice only above 5000 ft. No idiot lights light up, and the temp gauge shows normal. The last time this occured I was at 2000 ft., and after removing all the stuff I store over the engine, I discovered I'd thrown the power steering/brake belt. I put the belt back on and continued to trundle on. I don't know if this is related to the problem, or was caused by it. The belt needs replacing, and next time I camp, I'll replace it. As I live in this Westy, it's health is of vital concern to me. It's only happened three times in the last 4000 miles though. Thanks in advance, The Trundler
