The condensor is actually the unit that is in front of your radiator. It is the radiator for the A/C system. They can get hit by things and spring leaks. VW lists this part for $841. I sell them in the aftermarket for $299. I have one in stock at the moment if you are interested.

My A/C works, a season at a time! No matter what I've tried... including that sealer for dis-similar metals... the system loses its charge over the course of the winter and I end up recharging the next summer.

My dealer says I need a new condenser. What is that, where is it and where can I get one cheaper than what the dealer is asking ?

Thanks all!
