I have never seen or heard of a ECU For the digijet go bad. The european 2.1 vanagons with the 10 to 1 the had a horse power rating of 115 used the same digijet system with a differant ECU. Its my opinion that the majority of increase in power was from the ECU. My testing showed a 13 HP increase in power on a chassis dyno back to back runs stock US Verses European. The Euro ECU's are not made to use the oxygen sensor because of the use of leaded fuel. The engine would need to be properly tuned to use this ECU other wise the van would run worse because the fine tuning provided by the I have a supply of the European Digijet ECU's for sale at $250 each Bob Donalds Boston Engine Echange http://www.bostonengine.com
