I admit, that I am a big fan of the Element, though not an owner. Perhaps someday I might Dr. Frankenstein my Subie wagon and my Vanagon and actually buy an Element.

As an interested person, I have visited the H*nda element Owner's club website. H*nda might have intended if for surfers, bikers, hikers, etc. And there are a bunch of those types driving them. But, the overwhelming majority of those that post on the aforementioned website are 40-something parents. Even a couple of ex-Vanagon types over there.

Goes to show how intentions can miss the mark, I guess. Doesn't seem to be hurting them at all, H*nda set a new sales record in May, riding the Element wave. I think we'll see a lot of them on the road in the future.
