Well Jeff .................. Hang a 5500 BTU in the window yourself before you speak. I've got a window hanger unit made by GE and 5500 is barley enough to keep you cool on 90 degree nights in un-insulated Westy, with the Pop-Top down. I don't care about the math. I'm working off Murphy's Law and until you actually been there / done that you're just quoting Uncle Remus.
