Larry, I am sure you can rebuild it but the cost would exceed that great deal you get at busdepot. if you have AC you need a 450 watt power house and if you mention that david and gary from the vanagon list sent you, Larry you can get this for $130 (limited quantities). Does anyone know where these 12V motor can be re-worked/renewed or overhauled.

I do not like the idea of a 20-yr. old junkyard update nor the $150 Bus Depot wants for a new one.

Tell me what to do....Thank for insights
