IIRC it took them a couple hundred tries before they got it in one take. Tires had counter weights positioned inside to move them up. I can dig up a link to a couple articles on it if anyone's interested. <-- end non vanagon content -->

In other news, a very nice guy came and looked at the diesel today and will be picking it up tomorrow for his brother. Both are VW nuts.

Still have a few Vanagon parts lying around that need to find homes:

-- 2 gray captains chairs, great condition except for quarter sized holes from where the headrests melted on each seat. $50

-- driver's side p/w regulator. Fine condition. $50

-- 2 p/w switches. Work good. offer
