The value is $1000 max...................but hey no one is going to buy it for that without running it first, for you have to be able to shift that $3500 trans or you are really rolling the dice..............

He may have $6000 in it...but why not but another $2000 in it and keep it? He will never recoup his $6k, and if he gets another van, chances are he will sink $$ into it, too..............

so if he likes it, keep it.....if not, he ought to put int on ebay.

I just looked at a synchro about 300 miles from me.......not running. Got it to run in about 3 hours, drove it, and tranny was great............however tested for exhaust gas in the coolant, and yes it was present, Blown head. No deal there.........
