-- How do you get one free. I missed the thread.

Go to www.siriusbackstage.com and check out the Sirius Insider forum. You will need to register (simple name and password). The instructions are located in that forum. It requires a phone call, special keyword (in instructions) and an employee's name (also in instructions). You will get a free tuner, FM modulator (allows hookup to any existing car radio), and antenna shipped to your house with free shipping too. You must agree to sign up for a one year subscription (monthly, quarterly, or yearly credit card payment) to get this offer. You may or may not get a choice of equipment, be sure to ask. My personal preference would be Panasonic followed by Kenwood followed by Audiovox followed by Jensen. Clarion may also be an option. All of them use the same chipset so the audio performance is the same regardless of the unit, but I personally think the Panasonic has the best display (all units will display artist, song being played, stream number, and stream name). I have two Kenwoods, but I have friends that have the others. Most of these units also have remotes. You can see the specific features of each unit online at www.crutchfield.com if you plug in the search word Sirius. You can also see some or all of these at your local Best Buy / Circuit City. I know about 15 or so people with the service and not one of them has been disappointed with it. The main difference between Sirius and XM is that Sirius is 100% commercial free music, while XM plays commercials on many of their music channels. IMO, if you are going to pay for radio, why would you want to pay for commercials? XM is a lot better than FM for sure and is better known at this point, but I believe Sirius will ultimately be known as the one providing the best overall service. ----- Original Message ----- From: developtrust To: caverat@ATTBI.COM Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2003 1:55 PM Subject: free satelite radio?
