Hi all. My westy's steering "feel" has changed in the last, ohhh, week or two. Its been a gradual thing.

Symptoms include "sticky" wheels. that is, in a 90 degree left or right turn, the steering seems to "stick" at the tires. For a little distance in the steering arc on the steering wheel, the steering is a little heavier and then a little easier then a little heavier... and so on. Not a huge difference but enough for me to notice and appreciate its not the usual free, smooth movement.

A check on ATF levels show it to be okay. The Pump has been squeeking all season long and has about a mm of play 90 degrees from to back, none side to side... but that's tough to guage with a belt on eh!

Air pressure in both tires is equal, they're new.

So any suggestions as to what to look for would be appreciated.

Thanks all.
