To completely mess with your head. My Porsche 912e with the type IV engine, 7.6.1 compression ratio runs between 180-200 degrees oil temp. Outside air temp 100 degrees. Weight 2600 pounds. Oil 40 wt HD. Timing 26 / 27 degrees advance at 3500 rpms. ----------------- 83 Westy ------------------ Oil temps with notched rods, windage tray and oil cooler 100 Celsius most all the time.
