If the inverter was 100% efficient, it would use 9 amps at 12 VDC in order to supply 1 Amp at 110VAC. That completely drain a 72 Amp/hour battery (like an Optima Yellowtop) in 8 hours. In real world terms, the battery would be 90% discharged after about 5-6 hours. A regular starter battery would handle this type of service for about 8-10 cycles. After that, it would take around an hour to get to the 90% discharge point.

The Dometic fridge will use about 8 amps/hour on 12 volts.
