Hello,

After working on installing a new radio in my 88 Vanagon today the van will not start. It cranks over fine and I can smell fuel. I had the key on for several hours after installing the radio. Have I fried something in the ignition system while leaving the key on for such a long time? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Will
