I've used them as well, they work great. They're actuall called "Quick-N-Easy". I got mine at: http://www.altrec.com/shop/detail/4386?cjgate&cjgate

Cheers,

Jeff

Bill and listees: If you want to build your own platform and save money, use QuickN Easy cast aluminum brackets Much more weight bearing capacity than Yakima or Thule. They require rain gutters, but you can buy a set of 4 brackets for $45 or less. I use 8 of them to spread the load. My cross bars are 2x3" aluminum channel and I've had well over 1000# up there(18 4x8' sheets of blandex) for a short distance. I could take a photo of the rack design ands it might give you some ideas.

Not sure if QNE has a website, but I bought mine from a guy in n. VA by the name of John R Sweet. Great service. Phone# is 540-468-2222. he has a website which I think is www.jrsweet.com, but I could be off a few letters. I'm sure a search would pull him up.
