I would definitely double-check the positioning of the rotor button and
distributor cap.  The dizzy cap has a detent that fits an indentation in the
dsitributor.  They should match perfectly.  Also, the rotor button should be
pushed firmly onto the shaft.  Check the clips that hold the cap in place to
make sure they hold it snugly.
