I thought we're suppose to run phospate free coolant? Is that good enough or should I be using something else?

>>> "Walker, Phil" <Phil.Walker@BROOKS.COM> 6/29/2003 7:58:43 PM >>> I just bought some Blue Coolant for my BMW. The manual says to only use the proper coolant yada yada yada because of the aluminum heads. The message boards cite potential headgasket failures if the incorrect coolant is used (interesting). Anyway, the coolant looks the same as the VW stuff, comes from Germany, and the bottle even looks the same except for the BMW sticker on the side. My guess is that it is from the same supplier. If anyone is in a pinch and needs the blue I think it's safe to assume the BMW stuff is a direct replacement. By the way I got mine from EAP4PARTS.com for $13/bottle.
