hello all, well today after driving my wife to work in rush hour traffic seems last night little AFM screw adjust did its job, one thing i did notice was on start up this morning idle was a bit hard and took some time to adjust to the normal 900 rpm idle, before doing this my idle would bounce around a bit from 900 to 1000 and not really be consistant. Now everything is ok and idle does drop I moved the screw bracket so the arm would be at a good spot with no wear near by. Van drives with more speed and does'nt tac high more power also. This is a temp fix for the AFM to get more life out of it. note the idle would only jump during run time! sitting was fine, no leaks in vac lines but i do need to replace the hose connecting to the snorkle near AFM its all weak looking question I'm like major poor right now does anyone have spark plug wires in good shape for an 85 gl?? seems i have'nt got much life from the replacement brand ( not the old stockers ) I'll pay ya for them, but can by new right now. *hard times* Thanks much Joe stay at home dad and painter when i get the workie former High Tech'er |
