I think Wilder makes some good points, but I suspect this van isn't being built for any logical purpose, but because the person building it thinks it'll be fun to put it together. That's fine. Doing something with no real purpose but fun is what most hobbies are all about, and if Bruce has the money for a hobby this expensive I say more power to him. ;) Some people have boats or airplanes to dump money into, or summer homes. Bruce has his uber-van. I am curious about the roll cage, though. Are you trying to meet the specs for SCCA-sanctioned events, or something? I missed the original conversation.
