Hi everyone. Just want to share what great service I just received from Brooklands Book out of the UK on my order of their latest VW book " VW Bus Camper Van Performance Portofoio 1979-1991" I saw the ad in a British VW TDI tunning mag and ordered the book off their web site last week and I just returned home form a great 2 day camp trip on the shores of Lake Ontario, over the 4th of July, to find my order on my doorstep. I have not had time to digest the book yet but it is a compilation of various road test articles and comparisons from various publications in the UK, US , SA and Australia. It cover the evolution of the Vanagon/Caravelle and some odities like the Oettinger 6, Tri-Star Syncro and the 2.6i 5Cyl from South Afrika. Lots of info, graphs, and pictures. I just need a quiet place to go through it through it cover to cover. Too bad I did not have this before the long weekend getaway. If your would like your own copy, it is ISBN 185520621-8 and I think it cost about $35 US with the shipping. There are serveral other VW publications of interest such ast the VW Transporter Workshop manual and the VW Transporter T4 Workshop manual for the EuroVolks. You can reach Broolkand at www.brooklands-books.com or email them at Sales@brooklands-books.com They are fast and efficient and very painless. Thank You Joel 89 Syncro Westy Rochester NY.
