Subject: Hello Everyone...Im new to the List....
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed
Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the list. My name is Jesse. I am
from Southern Pennsylvania. I have been a mid 80's vw junky since the
late 80's. I have been driving Scirocco's for many years...also had a
fling for a while with a 71 type3 squareback. Was a wonderful
experience..and miss that one a lot. I was active on the type3.org
mailing list for a couple of years. Many nice people over there. I
cannot say enough nice things about those people. I am exited to get to
know everyone here. My wife and I do not own a Vanagon yet...But we
really really really want to buy a camper but...well..I just have never
owned one. It's hard to break away from the mechanical security that I
have driving Sciroccos. I think I could build one from scratch if I had
to! But going to the Vanagon will be a learning curve for me...I want
to make a good purchase when I buy one...and be able to maintain it
with the same proficiency that I have with Scirocco's. So with that
said...anyone who is planning on selling there Vanagon baby in the near
future...please contact me...I am willing to travel about 150 to 200
miles to pick it up if I have to. Others on the list...any advice would
be great. I have read the what do look for when buying a Vanagon fact.
Thanks in advance to any help....
Jesse and Monica Johnson
