Thanks for all of the replies about the skylight. I ordered one from theskylightguy.com.

My '89 Vanagon 2.1 never had an A/C. Is there a kit to add it? Is it worth it? I mean, does it really cool down the interior? How much power will I lose?

This is a great list!

I have a suggestion for the moderators though. Is it possible to add a couple of letters to the subject line of every e-mail? For example, it could be [vw]: or something like that in front of every subject line. I get a ton of e-mail and it would be nice to easily identify the list by subject. My e-mail software (Mozilla) also has the ability to categorize by subject title I think, so I could automatically put these messages into a mail folder.

Thanks again for all of the great van-a-chat! - Duane
