Hey everyone,

Just got the report from the Mechanic in Florida, the van sounds to be in good shape.

Here the numbers from the compression test, the mechanic says the numbers are excellent for the vanšs age and mileage of 150K, herešs what he said in the positive:

Engine Compression # 125/130/130/130

Shifts very smooth, like new.

Engine is rock solid, no leaks, gasket problems, no evidence of oil or coolant leaks.

Shocks are good, looked like they have been replaced.

Tires good life 60% or more life left, spare is full size tire, decent tread needs air.

The Bad:

Problems found:

Lic. Plate bulb out

Rear wheel cylinder and brake shoes need replacing

Right passenger side window motor not working

Tail pipe rusted out 8˛ piece

Rear hatch lifters need replacement

AC Needs recharging, blows cool but not cold. R12 he believes

Cost Estimate for parts and labor repair $400-500 dollars

Is the price for the repairs to high?

Thanks Robert NYC
