Wow that reminds me of the mud dauber next I just cleared out of the top of my Tiico (on top of one of the cooling hoses.) And it hadn't been sitting for that many days...)

As to the draining, I can't speak with authority on the Westy's, but on my 7 passenger Syncro the water is SUPPOSED to drip out of the left and right sides. If the drain hose is kinked, above the drip pan or otherwise incorrectly set up, then you may have water coming down on top of you or your passengers.

And there is nothing quite as shocking as braking hard and having your backside get sodden with ice cold water.... :)
