thanks you guys. i think i can figure it out from here. I'll let you know how I make out. you too marty. I also saw some stuff in the archives about setting idle before and some about setting after timing. I always thought you did idle after timing. any suggestions. also have a tan and brown middle seat i'd be willing to part with for the right price... I'm in Lancaster Co. PA if anyone is interested. let me know. also a couple of other odds n ends like a rear bumper strip and one of the front ones and a speedo that works (missing needle and trip doesn't work) and a set of the original front speakers .(brown) for the purists out there. they work. just thought i'd put that out there too. might put on ebay at some point...
