On the screen I added to my 89 westy I used a combination of velcro tape up the side by the rear seat along with drilling a couple of holes for the snaps in the vent channel at the top of the sliding door and down the side behind the passenger seat.    This has worked well for me with the particular screen that I had purchased from www.eurocampers.com.
