Subject: A/C question
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

I have a 87' Syncro with a Tiico conversion. AC has been great all last summer after the R-134 conversion (did myself), and up until now. Today I heard a hisssssss and no cold air on the way home. Got into the engine compartment and discovered the low side line came loose. Tightened it up and proceeded to charge not knowing exactly how much was lost. I assume most as it was all hot air. Now for the questions: It would not even take one small can of 134 (12-16oz?). From what it did take, it now blows cold. However the compressor is not cycling, it runs constantly. The low side pressure is at 30-35, I can not measure high as I do not have a 134 fitting on it. Any Ideas? The no cycling has me concered, and the fact it didn't even take 6-8 oz.

Thanks, Randy 87' Syncro
