Alas, all Sacramento Vanagon owners are busy fixing their A/C. Those who don't have A/C, have decided to spend the holiday weekend in the Bay area with BenT.

But honestly, the Delta is very nice, and quite a bit cooler than the rest of the valley. Old Sacramento is probably the only part of downtown worth spending any time at (check out the railroad museum). If you want to relax at the river, you could try Discovery Park just a mile or so north of Downtown. There's a new Indian casino in the Rocklin area that's supposed to be quite nice. And finally, if you want to get greasy, you can come out to my yard and take Vanagons apart.

Cheers,

Hey folks,

I may have an opportunity to visit Sacramento CA. So, for the folks who live there, what's it like? And, what do you do for fun? Tell me all about it.

REQUIRED CONTENT: Where do you go in your Vanagon?

Bill
