Hi,

I went to put on new shocks on the front and noticed that both steering
rack boots had come loose. I haven't driven that much since the last
time I looked under there, and everything looks clean.

Since I might as well put in new tie-rods and boots, what kind of r&r
should I do to the steering rack? Should I consider the rack
contaminated and pull it, disassemble and clean, and reseal? Or just
fix what's there and go.

Right now I don't have the $365 for a new rack.
