Haven't seen him do burnouts yet. He's had it for more than a year or two IIRC. My former 82 2wd 1.9td Doka was plenty fast for a diesel. Comfortable at 80mph (aircooled trans). Tolerable at 90mph. Purty loud and annoying above that. It sure surprised the heck out of folks trying to pass on the Pacifica Grade on Highway 35. They see the word "diesel" on the backend. With that they assume 45mph guardrail. That is until they realize they are out of torque just to keep up. BenT |
