With the number of different types of tents out there, I feel I should be more specific. It's the orange and blue with the red and blue door. The tent is suspended from an external frame and has the gray floor. It was original equipment on an early 70's Westy. The attachment to the van is via a rubber strip that fits onto the drip rail (rain gutter). In that the Loaf drip rail is different, will the rubber strip tend to pull off the Vanagon too easily? And, if so, what has worked for others in making the attachment secure?
