1 quart of oil in 2K miles is no cause for concern. Most 2.1L engines
use oil. As for the smoke on start up, if the hill is steep enough, some
oil will seep past the rings. Make sure you are not overfilling the
engine. The top mark is not full, it is the maximum allowed ever. Proper
level is really 1/2 way between the marks for coolest oil temps. Most of
the piston cylinder kits come with a "3 piece" oil ring. These rings do
allow more oil use than the older "1 piece" cast rings.

They said that they had heard of rings not seating lately from other
rebuilders but in their experience itıs only happened one time in many,

or so?, years of doing this.
Still Jeff wanted experiences with AVP and thatıs mine.
